There are many ideas to protect our environment but thing is we didn't try those...
Plz comment & share with your friend...First step to recovery....

To save environment, the simplest thing we can do is consume less and generate less waste. We can practice different ways to save our environment:
1. We should save drinking water. Water is a precious component of our environment. It should never be wasted.
2. We should never pollute water. Efforts should be made in making significant reduction in both domestic and industrial disposal in water bodies.
3. As far as practicable, the waste products should be recycled to make new items. The domestic and industrial garbage should be segregated as recyclable and non-recyclable before being dumped.
4. There should be a zero tolerance policy towards deforestation. Each one of us can contribute towards saving the environment by planting just one tree every-month.
5. We can make donations to NGOs that are engaged in planting trees, or in any-way working towards saving the environment.
6. Safer environmental friendly car and vehicles should be used. For short distances, people should be encouraged to use bicycle in place of motor based vehicles.
7. The use of environment unfriendly materials such as plastic should be discouraged.
8. Dumping domestic garbage in the pond, lake or river should be discouraged.
9. A lot of environmental problems would disappear if we stop using petroleum, coal and natural gas as raw-materials for power generation. The focus should entirely shift on renewable sources of energy. The use of renewable sources of energy (example solar energy) would help saving the environment from global warming.
10. Last but not least, aware more people about the environmental issues and their consequences. Encourage everyone to contribute their part to save our environment.
From environment, we get air, water, food, and everything else from the environment. But what we are giving back to our environment, we are just depleting it slowly which ultimately harms us only.

New technologies are being invented everyday with the hope of making our environment greener, and more sustainable.
A few examples of this are:
- Solar Panels
- Wind Turbines
- Dams
- Electric Vehicles
- Intelligent Dustbin- This idea is to implement Machine learning and Iot to collect garbage from the user. You dont have to go to the dustbin, instead the bin comes to you. I saw a few guys demonstrating it in our college and I really liked the idea. However, every god idea doesn’t mean would sell. A dustbin like that would cost more than 8000 bucks to make and would obviously cost more in the market.
- Sweeper Bot- While this is an old idea and there are already many products in the market I did see one being used at Sealdah Railway Station (Though Manually operated) a team of students from our college used Machine Learning to guide the bot to clean a room. On a domestic scale or on an Industrial Scale a swarm of such bots would automate the cleaning process.
- Trash Collector- The idea is to use a mechanical arm to collect trash from the pavements using machine learning. A few teams have noticeable work in this field but I have not seen any real working model yet.
- AutoRecycler- There are these atm like vending machines at different places that collects trash a dispense money/gifts for the same. I saw one at an exhibition in 2016. I got an Eclairs for my pet bottle(Still better than just throwing it on the street)
- Build nuclear power plants. A lot of them.
- Modify coal and natural gas power plants to capture and sequester carbon.
- Stop approving construction of new coal-fired power plants.
- Stop approving construction of new natural gas power plants. Although they release less carbon than coal, they still release carbon. A lot of it. And the supply chain releases massive amounts of methane, which is much worse than carbon dioxide. There are better solutions (see #1), especially given that natural gas just doesn't make environmental sense.
- Stop adding alcohol to gasoline. Alcohol comes with a higher carbon footprint than gasoline but contains less energy per gallon.
- Spend more R&D money on CCS (carbon capture and sequestration).
- Spend more money on researching ways to convert carbon dioxide to energy.
- Spend more money on R&D into bacteria and other technology to create fuel from stuff that died recently, so that there's less need to pump petroleum to fuel cars and aircraft.
- Build hydrogen refueling stations nationwide, but require that hydrogen be manufactured using a zero-emissions solution like nuclear power (currently, natural gas is the primary feedstock).
- Continue to explore ways to put the cat back into the bag. There are ways to suck carbon out of the air, but this technology is in its infancy and should be well-funded because we are going to need it.
- Charge a carbon tax: This is essential to enabling the market to clean up emissions without excessive regulation. Charge by the ton of carbon emitted. Use this money to pay companies to remove atmospheric carbon. Pay by the ton of carbon sequestered. Do not use it to pay for anything else, like planting trees, etc. At the end of the year, whatever is left can be redistributed to all citizens equally without regard to need or income. This might seem to be a massive wealth redistribution project, and would be, at first. But as companies become successful in sequestration, it would become a new industry.
After the previous suggestions are put in place, it's ok to explore these “feel-good” solutions that can't solve the problem by themselves but may help as part of the country's long-term zero-emissions energy strategy:
- Continue to explore ways to make solar energy collection more efficient and less harmful to the environment (I'm talking about the supply and disposal chains).
- Continue to explore ways to make windpower and wave power more efficient and safer for wildlife and the environment.
